“Breaking Bread: Songs of Reconciliation”

We are all on a journey, where our futures are shaped by our past and present. We’ve all experienced things that have left us feeling hurt, pain, fear, shame, and anger. As a result, we feel disconnected from ourselves and from others around us. But to find our way back, we must embark on a journey of love and transformation.

“Breaking Bread: Songs of Reconciliation” is a three-part melodic invitation to make peace by letting go of the past and confronting the brokenness within ourselves, others, and the world. This collection of songs heals hearts by encouraging us to reconcile through connection and conversation.

“Cali Girl”

We’ve all had periods in our lives where we’ve moved cities, jobs, and teams. There are always adjustment periods where we feel out how to fit in with the new culture. For me, this came when I moved from California to Nashville to begin my new life as a singer-songwriter.

This song is for those transition periods where you realize that you are not in the same place you once were and embrace that change. As we try to navigate this new journey, we need to keep in mind that as different our situation might be, we all experience the same struggles. But with patience and time, the longer you immerse yourself in a new culture, the more clarity you’ll gain, so just relax, slow down, and take your time.

“Cali Girl” is out now.

“Border Wall”

We live in a time where people are putting up walls of all kinds—political, social, mental, physical. These walls all lead to the same result: destruction, chaos, and division.

“Border Wall” mirrors the present societal deterioration fueled by anger and bitterness; a reflection of the result from continual wall building which is driving us further apart.

Instead of constructing walls around us and our groups, what if we tear those walls down and build bridges? Bridges that connect us to one another and help provide and maintain the liberties and freedoms we all want.

“Border Wall” is out now!

“Father’s Garden”

They say people come into your life for a reason or a season. And sometimes they ebb and flow throughout your life, being with you for parts of it and absent for others. When they’re gone, it’s painful, especially when you want a relationship and they can’t give you what you need. We get frustrated trying to understand their motive and reasoning, blaming ourselves for the reason they left. But as time passes, we grow and mature, and examine ourselves and our relationships and find it in our heart to forgive. Through faith, we find the strength to let it go and rebuild a loving and kind relationship.

“In or Out”

In or Out by Michelle Rhea Goddard

Don’t you hate it when you feel tossed around by waves in the ocean? Like you have no anchor to ground yourself or rock that you can cling to? That’s how we feel when we are in a relationship and the person we are with is giving us mixed signals on what they want out of the relationship. We want them to make up their mind and decide if they are truly in or out. And when we continually put up with the indecisiveness, we become sucked into a toxic situation like a riptide pulling us into a current that is trying to drown us. But when we take a step back, we realize that through self-love, we have the power to pull ourselves out of that current.

“In or Out” is out now!

“Two Feet at a Time”

Have you ever felt like you were wandering on a lost and deserted road not knowing if you were on the right path or wrong path, or if you would make it through? That is how I felt while I was writing Two Feet at a Time. I had just come back from California and it was two days before the tornado in Nashville. I felt a little lost about my music career; it literally felt like I was wandering down a foggy California backroad and couldn’t see but two feet in front of me. Never knowing what was about to hit the city of Nashville, or my career for that matter, this song is for all of those that need reassurance that the road is good and you will find a way if you trust yourself.

“Two Feet at a Time” is out now!

“Nashville”

“Nashville” is my first single release and entry point into the music world. Taken from and built upon a verse and chorus that mysteriously dropped into my head one day, it tells of the story of how to listen to that deeper calling on our life, even when it doesn’t make sense. And when you do listen, what can blossom from that. The song tells the story of my journey from California to Nashville, and beyond.
