Hi! I’m Michelle!

Hi, I’m Michelle, an up and coming Nashville artist :) Thanks for coming along on this journey with me. My love of music started at a very young age, well technically birth; I was named after the Beatles song “Michelle” and born on the day that MTV started. This used to be my claim to fame but never thought it would set the tone for what would one day become my love, my passion, and my career.

I’ve had a few twists and turns on the journey of life but all that came to a head when one day back in January of 2016, I mysteriously and divinely had a song pop into my head about coming to Nashville and starting a new life. I have had no prior musical training or background outside of one very short stint in junior college, so for this to happen for me was a call from God to leave everything that I knew and do something completely different from the life I was living in California. For the next few years, that song would play until I finally made the leap to come to Nashville and check out what God was talking about in the song. And here I am today! I feel so blessed to have made the move to pursue my dreams and follow the call that God has on my life: to sing and write healing music for the soul that tell distinctive stories that are uplifting and gives them hope for a brighter day, songs that move you on this journey called life, and inspirational music.

When I first started writing songs for my upcoming album, “Breaking Bread: Songs of Reconciliation,” I knew that I had to do this full time. As a singer-songwriter in Nashville, I love songwriting and telling stories, I love singing and connecting with the audience through the word, and I love producing music that is so unique and different but infuses all of the influences from the past. I see my music as a mix of Americana, indie, folk, and honky-tonk. I create songs about finding yourself, a different side of yourself that is interconnected all the same. We are all humans, we all live a distinctly human experience, but we are all connected by having a story and often our individual stories have intersections that are undeniable. That is what I hope you take away from being here, the undeniable that you are special and unique but you are also within a community of shared experience. Enjoy and thank you for blessing my life with your presence 💖

Michelle :)
